That fabric is slippery! Get a better grip with a squeeze bag of aerial rosin.
Isopropyl alcohol recommended; instructions included.
(This is not the same as the rosin you find in sporting goods stores!)
Traditionally acrobats only use rosin during performances as to not become reliant upon it. We agree this is a good idea.
However, WE DO encourage using rosin for Aerial Play & Fitness training videos.
– If your hammock is new or unwashed, it will be extra slippery
– The rosin will assist the tiny muscles in your fingers to grip less, allowing the larger muscles to engage properly. Your grip will still get stronger with rosin, but this way, so will your arms and back!
– A better grip = a safer you. Period.
